Location Location of Gardenia Town in Hora. |
Gardenia Town (くちなしタウン, Kuchinashi Town) is a small town located north of Freesia Town off of Hora Route 2. It is known as the "city of flowers." Pokémon Trainers come to Gardenia Town for two reasons; to face the first gym of the Hora League to win the Garden Badge from the Gym Leaders, and to participate in the local Pokémon Contest. Most beginning coordinators begin their contest careers here. If Ninetales was spotted in the area at night, the town's residents usually stay out of the streets.
A man visits this town, selling Magikarp for 500.

Gardenia Town is the location of one of the Hora region's first Contest Halls. Most trainers can pick up a Contest Pass here and then begin their competitions immediately.
Garden Memorial[edit | edit source]
In the northwestern part of the town lies a garden solely dedicated to the legendary Pokémon, Lagralia. Half of the legend surrounding Hora's two legendary Pokémon is inscribed on a stone in the middle of that garden. The other half resides in Watsonia City.
