Mimosa City (ミモザシティ, Mimoza City) is a small city sitting at the base of the Hora region's tallest mountain, named Mt. Hora.
Other than to see the mountain itself, the town serves as a resting place for deceased Pokémon; having a Pokémon Graveyard near its bottom. The center of the town has a fountain to commemorate the fallen Pokémon that rest in the town.
In the woods at the bottom of Mimosa City is a fog-covered graveyard that is the final resting place for deceased Pokémon in the Hora region. Many trainers come to Mimosa City to pay their respects to the Pokémon who have fallen in battle or to illness. The graveyard is also the host to Ghost-type Pokémon. It is said that the Legendary Pokémon, Darkrai, will visit the cemetery if it is in grave danger, as Darkrai will not permit the disturbance of a fallen Pokémon's rest.
Despite being a city, Mimosa lacks a proper Pokémon Center and instead has, what is known as, a Pokémon Clinic. The clinic is located in a house just to the left as one enters the city. The clinic is family run out of their own home and while they live in a house at the back of the property. Instead of using the technological methods used by conventional pokémon centers, the family employs traditional methods. Pokémon are healed with specific mixtures of natural herbs and music. The necessary herbs are grown behind the house. The family currently consists of a Father, a Mother, and two children one being an aspiring Pokémon Trainer.
Mimosa City boasts a population of around 9,000, a little less than average for most Hora region cities.
