Pokémon the Series: Re:coded, sometimes simply called Re:coded, is a fanon Pokémon series and the start of the Re:coded series. It began as a fan adaptation of the Pokémon games from the pen of the author's adventures. It details the story of Sean, the son of Professor Changi and an aspiring Pokémon Trainer, as he travels through the Hora Region, battling Gym Leaders and striving to defeat the Elite Four. This project started February 1st but went on hiatus.

It shares the same continuity as Pokémon the Series: Light & Dark and Pokémon — Songs of Victory loosely.

The first eight episodes make up the introduction of Sean and the foundation for the remainder of the series. During the introduction he will earn his first three badges as well as obtaining his full six pokémon team. Starting with the ninth episode, the main arc will begin.

These special episodes cover Episodes RC009-RC033, and will be told in the same manner as Pokémon Origins. It will cover Sean obtaining his remaining Gym Badges and the capture and or evolution of his team members before the Caspia Conference. It will also delve into the shared history of Sean's Cousin Austin and the Rocket Agent William.
