Singing Oasis (Japanese: メロディックスプリングオアシス Melodic Singing Oasis) is a spring hidden in the desert route of Hora Route 6. In this area, the link between the World of Pokémon and the Distortion World is weaker, and there is a portal where a trainer can venture into this world.
Description[edit | edit source]
The Singing Oasis is a location in Hora hidden by the Pokémon who reside there. It is located on Route 6, but is only accessible with Dig. The user of Dig reaches an underground cavern, and after traversing it, must go up. They will find themselves back in the desert, on an area not marked by the Town Map. A large "mountain" resembling a tree extends up from a small lake to a high altitude. The Singing Oasis is located on this mountain.
Meloetta reside on this mountain in small numbers, and every Spring, half of them transform into their Step Forme, and hold a small dancing ceremony, where many Pokémon such as Skitty and Jigglypuff, as well as the remaining Meloetta who stay in Voice Forme, arrive to sing, while the Meloetta themselves perform dances. The Hora Region's Shiny Mew is known to frequent this area during the ceremony.
